I had a fab time in Beijing thanks to Study China. The courses offered were really well structured and their staff extremely helpful, especially Sarah. They took care of literally everything so all I had to do was go to class. Plus, whenever I had a question about anything in Beijing I'd just drop by the office or give them a ring.
Amy Sydall, 20, Dublin, Ireland
My semester in Dalian was great. Study China helped me settle in easily, picking me up at the airport, explaining me how to get around the city and always being there if I needed them. The free trips and social gatherings they organised were a plus too.

I didn't know a word of Chinese before going to China. The lessons at BLCU were good and I found that many Chinese people don't really speak that much English meaning that I could practice after class. A few years ago I wouldn't have even dreamed of being able to speak Mandarin!

I studied a semester in Beijing University with Study China after a friend recommended them to me. It was so good to see they have such helpful western and Chinese staff especially after a long trip to such a different country. China itself is amazing. I'd recommend traveling for at least a few weeks around the country before leaving.

I had studied Chinese at university and wanted to focus on my speaking skills. China Study arranged for me to stay with a local family from Beijing. The lessons at Renmin University were really useful, but I found that I learned a lot of expressions from my host family and caught an insight into how people live in China that maybe other participants didn't.

Going on your own to a foreign country without any real idea of what to expect can be an intimidating experience, but all my worries vanished away thanks to the warm welcome and support I received from Study China. I did a summer course with Study China at Tsinghua University and kept on taking Chinese in college.

Regarding my internship, I worked in a foods and beverages import/export company. During my internship I helped organize the distribution of our products. The most interesting part was carrying out market studies, mainly of second tier Chinese cities, to see whether the products we imported would succeed there. Combining the internship with Chinese lessons was tiring, but worth it.
