Learn Korean in China with Study China. If you are interested in combining Chinese with another Asian language, you may find Korean to be an ideal option. With an increasingly large number of South Korean companies in China, being able to speak both languages will definitely give you an advantage over others.
Learning Korean will give you access to one of the wealthiest and biggest economic powers in Asia (South Korea), as well as allowing you discover a nation with a millenary culture.
We have students who just want to learn Korean and not Chinese, and choose Beijing to do so, as living costs in the Chinese capital are much lower than in South Korea. Beijing is also an excellent place to learn the language as the city counts with two districts where Korean presence is noticeable due to the large amount of Korean students who come to study Chinese or enroll in university degree courses as well as business people who settle in Beijing. There has been a large presence of Korean firms (Hyundai, Samsung, LG, etc) in the city for many years.
The two main Korean districts of Beijing are located in Wudaokou and Wangjing. You will notice in every corner that most signs on the streets are written in Chinese and Korean. Students will have the chance to interact with Korean people as the Korean districts have many Korean restaurants and bars crowded with Koreans or Chinese of Korean ethnicity (who use Korean as their mother tongue).
The courses will take place in Language Centers located in one of the two Korean districts in Beijing. We offer the opportunity of studying Korean language or Chinese and Korean at the same time with very flexible schedules.
