Beijing Language and Culture University is the only university in China that has its main mission set at teaching the Mandarin Language to overseas students. Aiming to "popularize Chinese language and promoting Chinese culture" it has a rather unique international campus feeling and is home to the famous international Mandarin Language test, HSK. 
Tsinghua University is always battling with Beijing University for the first position in the national college league table. Established in 1911 on an imperial garden by the US from funds received from China from the Boxer Rebellion, it was initially a school for students to prepare for studying in the US and in 1925 started its research institute on Chinese study. 
The oldest University in the country, it was founded in 1898 and is the first national university in China. Also known as Bei Da, this university has had some of China's top leaders and thinkers, including people such as Mao Zedong and Lu Xun. It is not only ranked highly in China, but internationally too. 
Beijing Sports University offers both martial arts lessons and Mandarin language courses. Established right after the People's Republic of China in 1953, it is one of the most reputable sports institutions in the country. 
China Youth University for Political Science - this institution plays a vital role in forming future politicians in the country. 
Renmin University (People's Chinese University) - one of the key humanities and social sciences research institutes in the country. 
Chinese Language Center - located in the university district of Haidian. This Chinese language center is amongst the most renowned in Beijing and we offer extremely flexible schedules and courses through them where students can focus on their desired field of Mandarin.

Fudan University is located in Shanghai and became one of the first elite higher education institutions in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China. 
Dongbei University of Economics and Finance. One of the top Chinese Universities in Economics and Finance. Many students go on studying a Chinese degree after completing their language course here. 
Established in 1902 it ranks within the top 14 universities in China. It is close to the City Wall of Xian, an area with pedestrian streets and a fascinating fusion of the well preserved historic sites and modern shopping streets.
